Que sueño

I am so tired. I had such a busy weekend, and today is going to be such a crazy busy day, that I am going to drop dead after class. No... not after class, I am going to see a play by Fernando Arrabal. I´ve read it before, so I´m very interested in seeing it. Also... Arrabal will be there. He has accepted an interview with me, so I can´t wait to meet him!

So, he is at the Universidad Complutense today. It has been organized by the Instituto del Teatro de Madrid. He should be in the Facultad de Filología. I haven´t been able to get to any of it except for the end of the interview with him by Javier Esteban and a dramatized reading of his play Guernica. Having just seen the painting Guernica by Pablo Picasso, this should prove to be very moving. Anything related to the Spanish Civil War is always emotional. To this day it is still a very sensitive subject as can be seen by the horrible, unjust, disgusting and disturbing move to suspend Judge Garzón. That is something that I do hope to ask Arrabal about when I interview him.

I´m hoping, since I don´t have a set date for the interview that I will be able to talk to him for just a few minutes to ask him when we can meet so that I can interview him. I´m hoping to arrive after the talk but before the play with enough time to talk to him. If not, I´m hoping to catch him after the dramatized talk. Keeping my fingers crossed...
